Guidelines
Our focus is to support worthwhile charitable organizations, causes and events across the Island. Maritime Electric has developed the following guidelines to assist in fair and timely responses to donation requests.
All community donation requests must be received at least eight (8) weeks prior to the event for which the funds have been requested.While Maritime Electric considers all donation requests for a wide range of worthwhile community organizations, groups and individuals, priority is given to the following areas:
- Health
- Education
- Sports
- Arts and Culture
- Environment
- Safety
If you indicate in the Donation Request Form that you are representing a charitable organization, then your organization would be registered with Canada Revenue Agency. Canada Revenue Agency provides a charitable organization number. This number is needed for the donation request form.
