Payment Centres
Our Collection Agent Payment System has been expanded to cover the Island from Tignish to Souris. Paying your bill at a collection depot is the same as paying at our main office. In many of the convenient community payment centres your payment is credited in real time with no delays.
For your protection, store personnel require your Maritime Electric bill to access your account to ensure proper credit of your payment. You will be issued a printed receipt for your payment. You can pay at any of the following locations during regular store hours. Store hours and payment collection hours vary from store to store. Contact the individual store for information on their payment acceptance hours.

Banks and Credit Unions
Maritime Electric bill payments are also accepted at most banks and credit unions Island wide at the teller and electronically through internet and telephone banking. Banks and credit unions are delayed time payment acceptance agents. It may take up to 72 hours before your payment is credited to your electric account.
