Residential Cottage Option
Plan A.
If you use your cottage property for 4 months or less, you may
opt for a disconnection/reconnection. However, if you use your
cottage for 4 months or more it is worth noting that with our
Six Month Residential Cottage Option you can have electrical service
year round.
Plan B.
If you use your cottage for 5 or 6 months you will find that our
Six Month Residential Cottage Option delivers savings. Your energy
consumption during the November 1st - May 31st period must not
exceed half of the energy consumed during the June 1st - October
31st period.
If you use your cottage property periodically throughout
the year or on a continuous basis for 7 months or more, and your
energy consumption during the November 1st - May 31st period exceeds
half of the energy consumed during the June 1st - October 31st
period, you will be classified as a Regular Residential Customer
and billed monthly.
Commercial Cottage Operator
Option
Plan A.
If you operate your business for 3 months or less you may opt
for a disconnection/reconnection. However, if you operate your
business for 3 months or more, it is worth noting that with our
Six Month Commercial Cottage Option you can have electrical service
year round.
Plan B.
If you operate your business 4 to 6 months you will find that
our new Six Month Commercial Cottage Option delivers savings.
Your energy consumption during the November 1st - May 31st period
must not exceed half of the energy consumed during the June 1st
- October 31st period.
If you operate your business throughout the year or on a
continuous basis for 7 months or more, and your energy consumption
during the November 1st - May 31st period exceeds half of the
energy consumed during the June 1st - October 31st period, your
service will be classified as a Regular General Service Customer
and billed monthly.
