Notice to our customers

It is our primary responsibility to maintain the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to our customers, while ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. Since early March, Maritime Electric has been monitoring the developments around COVID-19.

We have contingency plans in place to maintain our essential service delivery to our customers. To help contain the spread of the virus, we have restricted all non-essential business travel. We have been reminding our employees to wash their hands frequently, practice proper cough etiquette, use proper social distancing and stay home if they are showing any symptoms and call 811 as per Health PEI.
